As a newbie in blogosphere, I tried my best to make my blogsite presentable to attract visitors-bloggers and readers alike. I believe on the adage “First impression is lasting”. Blog layout is one of the factors of increasing traffic in my blog site. I desired that my visitors will keep on coming back on my site. As I started bloghopping and visiting other blogs, I discovered how awesome were their templates-personalized header design, template that suits their theme and blog badges that shows their personal style. I felt intimidated knowing that my blog “look” is inferior. I am like Cinderella living in unfortunate circumstances in cyberspace until….suddenly my world will soon change to remarkable fortune when I visited Mariuca. She posted about a FREE BLOG MAKEOVER GIVEAWAY of Lady Java! I exclaimed “This is it! This is what I need- a blog make-over”. I look into the details of this contest. Lady Java is hosting this give-away for this month in celebration of her 40th birthday. It’s a blessed year where some says the age where life begins. I also read that according to the Bible, it is the number of waiting, the preparation and the test of life.
