One of the janitors in school asked me if my hubby’s a Thai or a farang (white man). In crooked Thai, I explained to her that my hubby is a Filipino. Afterwards, he saw my hubby fetched me in school. She complimented that he’s handsome and looks like Thai. I told her that if she’ll go to Philippines, they’ll be mistaken in identifying her as a Filipino because her morena-look is really a Filipino. 

Other mom bloggers whom I met in blogosphere who kinda knew that I’m living and working here in Thailand assumed that my hubby is a Thai. They probably thought that we met at work or in one of the free online dating sites.To make the issue clear, I wrote in my WBFC entry that my husband is a proud Filipino. Though we look the same with Thai, Filipino has his own unique ability and beauty that I wouldn’t trade for other race. You see, I love our “own”…he..he…
