School administrators should make sure that all playground school equipment are safe for children’s use. The equipment should be well-maintained and clean at all times. In doing so, maintenance and inspection is required to be done regularly.
- All metal equipment should be free from rust.
- The wooden equipment must not have any crack and should be free from splinters.
- The playground equipment of the school must be made of sturdy materials. It should not be easily torn apart or be worn out with changes in weather.
- The surface of the playground must be well-maintained to avoid tripping of kids when running around.
